I always say that if we have an umbrella, it won’t rain. These amazing women are my umbrella. In the many years and hundreds of births that I’ve had the honor of attending, I’m happy to say that I can count on one hand the times I’ve needed a backup doula as my umbrella. However, life is unpredictable and it gives me peace to know that if I’m unable to attend your birth for unforeseen reasons, such as illness, injury or attending another birth, and if you so desire, one of these beautiful doulas will be there for you.
